Since 2009, Tara has directed over 50 shows, presented at over 30 festivals in 15 cities in 4 countries on 3 continents, but South Africa is her favourite. Among other awards, she has 1 Fleur du Cap, 4 Silver Ovation and 6 Standard Bank Ovations to her name. Her most lauded work includes …miskien - which won the Clover Soveel Beter Award at Aardklop 2011 for Best Production - Mafeking Road, Undermined, and The Three Little Pigs. She has directed everything from one-person shows to dramas to comic book style physical theatre to stand-up comedy to musicals to opera. When she’s not in a theatre, Tara loves watching horror movies, listening to (trashy) audiobooks, and cold dips in any water she can find.Roland Du Preez is a swiss army knife artist: actor, comedian, writer, and musician. Roland’s work focuses on queer joy, intergenerational trauma, unpacking Afrikaans culture, and the potential for humour in conflict. They believe that art must show vulnerability for people to connect with it. There ought to be more queer stories with happy endings.Recently, Roland’s solo play Rescue Remedy was nominated for best solo performance at Woordfees. They co-created Pick a Struggle, a comedy variety show with Zach Esau. They played keyboard for the cabaret Hoek, Lyn, en Sinker as well as Francesco Nassimbeni's The Sun is a Star and We Know What it's Made of. They started Drama & Dragons, a theatre/D&D workshop series for kids. Roland is a regular in the Cape Town standup scene and a finalist of the Jive Funny Championship.Roland likes tomatoes in every form, spiders, Sigourney Weaver, birds of prey, and Oxford commas. They use their free time to sing Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, and Tori Amos songs. They prioritise D&D above everything else.Jacques Adriaanse is an Aardklop National Arts Festival award-nominated, international actor whose work spans American, European as well as South African film, television and theatre. Jacques was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Miguel in the two-hander play Forte at the National Arts Festival Aardklop 2024 in South Africa. In his latest role, Jacques stars as Henry in Match, directed by award-winning Canadian director Danishka Esterhazy, a role where his physicality is praised by critics. Jacques is also known for his roles of Nick in Invasive: Getaway for Tubi, John in acclaimed Netflix comedy feature Disaster Holiday as well as Donald Smith in award-winning Swedish Film Hammarskjöld: Fight for Peace, and he can also be seen in Netflix hit Kings of Jo’burg Season 2. In the Afrikaans market he stars in acclaimed TV Shows such as Een Keer op die Son, Niggies, Nêrens, Noord-Kaap, Binnelanders as well as the film Die Tragiese Saak van Pamina Vermaak. An actor that pushes the envelope with every role he takes on, known to love getting outside of his comfort zone with fearless performances, consistently seeking roles that challenge him creatively. Jacques furthermore holds a BComm(Law) degree. In 2024, he was elected to the executive committee of the South African Guild of Actors (SAGA), where he advocates for a more sustainable, transparent, and unified entertainment industry.A bit of the history of FAG/STAG:FAG/STAG premiered in 2015 at PICA at Fringe World. In 2017 FAG/STAG played at the Edinburgh Fringe. Griffin Theatre Company co-produce a 2018 season of the work in Sydney. The Last Great Hunt also sent FAG/STAG to Adelaide Fringe and Brisbane Festival to more rave reviews. There is also an Italian translation by DOGMA Theatre Company that won Best Show in the Milan Fringe Festival, and continues to play around Italy through to 2024.
