The Rivertones, Cape Town’s most loved Reggae band, are a Cape Town based Reggae band formed in 2006 by lead vocalist, Roland Geoffrey Nair. The music is an upbeat, skanking, joyful, eclectic, old school reggae sound with our message of ‘one love’.Having recently had the great privilege of supporting UB40 featuring Ali Campbell during their tour to South Africa for the second time, The Rivertones are back in Cape Town and rocking between 20 – 25 venues per month in and around Cape Town, as well as further afield in Somerset West, Gordon’s Bay and Hermanus on a regular basis.
