Born in South Africa to Mozambican parents and raised in the vibrant streets of Johannesburg, Wanda’s sound is a unique blend of African rhythms, soul, jazz, and contemporary influences. Wanda began her professional music career as a member of the award-winning all-female group Ghetto Luv, before embarking on a successful solo career. She later signed with Universal Music Group, where she established herself as one of South Africa’s most respected vocalists. Throughout her solo journey, Wanda has released four acclaimed studio albums: Voices – produced by Jimmy Dludlu, earning her a KORA Award for Best African Arrangement.
